Sharon smiled at the sold sign on the old brick schoolhouse.

Kneeling in front of a loose brick, she pulled, and found the note she and Barb had placed behind it. It said, We’ll be back.

Barb helped her up, planted a kiss on her lips, saying, “We made it!”
